Because we are sunday-meeting focused, instead of everyday-movement focused, we immediately think about how disorderly our church meetings will become if there is no order. But think bigger: if our churches are growing spontaneously, our problems will change. Our focus will not be about meetings alone, but how to disciple the leaders as they disciple new converts and equip leaders to lead and reproduce themselves.”

Just came on your website having not been on it for a while. Your comments are interesting and certainly relevant to what is happening in these islands of ours but particularly true in England.

As Paul wrote, ‘there are not many fathers’ means that we do need genuine born again, spirit filled believers who are willing to encourage one another and others as they come to faith in the Lord Jesus, however, it is also a time to be listening to God the Holy Spirit because it is easy to move into a position of man made authority which has been the down fall of many churches. The DNA factor must be, ‘being born of the Spirit’ rather than an establishment of a man made movement; this will ensure that there is no ‘command-and-control’ of church government.

Without doubt we are seeing the re-birthing of a New Testament Church under the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Father and the Holy Spirit. As I have come to believe the real church.
